River To Ridge x Tunetech Suspension
Get ready for a dirtbike event like no other! We've teamed up with the suspension experts at Tunetech to bring you the ultimate weekend of riding, learning and dialing in your setup.
Day one will kick things off with expert advice on bike and suspension setup, for those that are keen we can also offer some personalised rider coaching focused on improving your technique throughout the day. Time permitting there should be some opportunities throughout the day for guided trail rides straight from the property too. WHAT TO BRING
Your bike
Camera / Phone
Riding Gear
Boots, Armour, pants, helmet, goggles
Cold weather riding gear
The Victorian high country is subject to extreme weather changes so be prepared for all conditions
Necessary tools for your bike
Heavy duty tubes / Spares
Ours are more expensive if required
ALSO REALLY IMPORTANT…
Valid Motorcycle licence
All Riders must have a current motorcycle licence (Motorcycle learners is acceptable). Bikes are required to be registered (Rec reg is acceptable).
Please come with a full tank of fuel
We will supply all fuel for the remainder of the trip. For two strokes that require premix we run penrite full synthetic oil mixed at 50:1 if you have a preference of brand of oil or mixture ratio please bring a jerry can in our trailer.
BIKE REQUIREMENTS
We have certain bike requirements to come on our trips, this is not to exclude anyone it is to ensure a smooth successful trip for all riders. If we allow poorly maintained bikes to come chances are they will brake down in the middle of the high country somewhere, obviously we understand even a brand new bike can brake down but we want to minimise these mechanicals for the enjoyment of all riders on the tour. We do have a support vehicle that can pick up broken down bikes however we will always lose time trying to get bikes running again so the rider does not miss out.
Dirtbikes requirements
-
Heavy duty tubes or moose
-
Ensure chain and sprockets have plenty of life left in them
-
Check wheel bearings don't need to be replaced
-
Check spoke tension
-
Check for leaking fork seals
-
Ensure you have plenty of life left in brake pads
-
If you run tubes a spare must be carried, a front can be used in rear to save carrying two tubes
-
No bald tyres

Again this checklist is not to be a pain it is for your own enjoyment, the high country can be unforgiving, we want to get you there and back.
ADDITIONAL INFO
Tour guides have recovery and first aid equipment but we recommend that you also have your own if possible.
We also highly recommend you have current personal and vehicle insurance as our insurance does not cover this.
We highly recommend you take out Vic Ambulance cover if you don't already have it. It is cheap insurance and can be expensive if you are not covered and an ambulance is needed.
Bring the family
There are loads of accommodation options in Bright and surrounds with endless entertainment options and things to do for the family while you’re out getting dirty. We can help with some great recommendations.
