OUR STORY
THE CREW
First of all the only reason this is all possible is because of a bunch of legends that help me sweep ride, lead ride and drive support vehicle. I think everyone that has been on one of our tours will agree that the crew are always willing to jump in and help whether its fixing a flat tyre, helping a rider up a hill or providing banter and laughs. There are too many of you to name but you boys deserve a shoutout.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
As a kid my parents were never into bikes, I lived by the ocean at MacMasters Beach NSW and grew up surfing. From a young age I was fascinated by dirtbikes, even though I had never ridden one I would spend my pocket money on ADB magazines. I started my apprenticeship as a chef at 17 and bought my first bike at 18, a 96 model KX250 2 stroke, as a beginner I had to learn quick on this thing. I crashed a lot but I was hooked.
MY JOURNEY
Through my 20’s I got married had kids and spent what ever spare time I had at the motocross track, I loved it.
Like most blokes the transition from motocross to enduro happened and then adventure bike too. After a riding trip to Bright in 2016 I was amazed by the high country and decided then that i’d bring my family back for a trip and if they loved Bright as much as I did then we’d sell our restaurant on the central coast NSW and move here. We bought a restaurant in Bright and ran it for three and a half years then sold it in winter 2021.
LIFE IN THE HIGH COUNTRY
6 years in we couldn't be happier with our move to the Vic High Country, my son and I can ride out the driveway and be on single track in 2 minutes, I have spent many many hours riding and exploring the mountains and valleys throughout the high country. This really is Gods Country.
HOW THE ADVENTURE BEGAN
The opportunity came up to buy River to Ridge in Winter 2021 from two mates.
It was a no brainer for me, I love adventures, I love dirtbikes, I love showing people awesome riding locations and I love having a beer and eating good food with good people. If these things excite you as well come on a tour with us for a bucket list ride for any offroad rider.
