Rider Requirements

This tour is suitable for intermediate to advanced off-road riders only. It is not designed for beginners. Riders must be confident on technical terrain and physically prepared for long days at high altitude.

Led by our experienced local guides, who have long-standing relationships throughout the region, we are welcomed into places that most travellers will never access. JOURNEY

Himalayan Dirt Bike Adventure Itinerary – November 1-10

Day 1: November 1 – Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival: Land at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.
Hotel Transfer: We will arrange transportation to your hotel for a comfortable stay.
Explore the Local Market: Take a short tour around a vibrant Nepali market to immerse yourself in the local culture.
Group Dinner: Enjoy a welcome dinner together, meeting your fellow riders and discussing the adventure ahead.

Day 2: November 2 – Kathmandu to Pokhara

Morning Flight: Take a scenic 25-minute flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, arriving at 12:00 PM.
Hotel Transfer: Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Pokhara for check-in.
Lunch: Relish a traditional Nepali lunch at your hotel.
Meet the Himalayan Team: Meet the team for an in-depth briefing about the journey.
Bike Check: Ensure your 250cc dirtbike is ready for the adventure and setup to your liking.

Day 3: November 3 – Pokhara to Tatopani (Hot Springs)

Start Riding: Depart at 8:00 AM for the first leg of your journey.
Remote Villages: Ride through rural Nepali villages, experiencing the authentic charm of mountain life.
Hot Springs at Tatopani: Reach Tatopani, known for its natural hot springs, where you’ll unwind and relax after your first day of riding.

Day 4: November 4 – Tatopani to Kagbeni

Morning Ride: After breakfast, we’ll head out at 8:00 AM to continue our journey.
Scenic Routes: Ride through remote trails and stunning landscapes as we head toward Kagbeni, a beautiful village at the entrance of the Upper Mustang region.

Day 5: November 5 – Kagbeni to Lubra Pass, Back to Kagbeni

Breakfast with a View: Enjoy breakfast while taking in the incredible mountain views.
Heading North: Ride further north towards Lubra Pass, gaining elevation and acclimatizing to the altitude.
Alpine Forests: Navigate through cliffside trails and alpine forests, offering both challenges and stunning scenery as we return to Kagbeni for the night.

Day 6: November 6 – Kagbeni to Dolpo, Stay at Marpha

Rising Heights: Continue climbing higher into the Himalayas with the dirt bikes.
Scenic Trails: Ride along both single tracks and jeep tracks, immersing yourself in the dramatic landscape of the region.
Overnight at Marpha: Arrive in Marpha, a charming village known for its apple orchards and stunning mountain backdrop.

Day 7: November 7 – Marpha to Chheyma Lake, Stay at Holiday Camp

Morning Ride: Depart for Chheyma Lake, one of the most serene and picturesque spots in the region.
Holiday Camp Stay: Enjoy a restful night at a scenic holiday camp, surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains.

Day 8: November 8 – Holiday Camp to Poon Hill

Poon Hill Sunrise: Begin the day with an early morning ride, heading towards the legendary Poon Hill.
Take in one of the best sunrise views in the world as you stand at the summit of Poon Hill, with panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.

Day 9: November 9 – Poon Hill to Pokhara

Fun Roads: Enjoy one of the most thrilling rides of the tour as we make our way back to Pokhara.
Suspension Bridge Crossing: Cross iconic suspension bridges that are a highlight of the region’s landscape.
Thanksgiving Dinner: Celebrate the completion of this epic adventure with a special dinner, where we’ll thank the crew and reflect on the journey.

Day 10: November 10 – Pokhara to Kathmandu

Morning Flight: Fly back to Kathmandu by domestic flight
Evening Departure: Suresh will ensure timely transportation to Tribhuvan International Airport for your connecting evening flight.

Single-occupancy rooms are available for those who prefer more privacy, at an additional cost of $500usd.

Cancellation Policy

All bookings for this tour are made directly with the operating company (Himalayan Life Adventure), and all payments (including deposits and balances) are payable to the Operator.

Any cancellation must be submitted in writing by email and will be effective from the date the notice is received by the Operator. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed by the Operator in accordance with their booking terms and conditions.

The following cancellation terms apply:

More than 40 days prior to departure: Full refund, less any non-recoverable payment processing fees charged by the bank or payment provider.
Between 40 and 30 days prior to departure: 50% refund.
Within 30 days of departure: No refund.

Failure to arrive at the designated meeting point at the scheduled date and time will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be payable.
